Underground Edition - May 2010

Hello there, this is Bill Everatt, with news of the May update of the Celtica Radio Underground Edition, Receivable Worldwide, On-line, On Digital Wireless and on the Nokia Mobile Phone Network.

We start this months show with one of the bands featured in this years Gathering, The Battle of the Bands.  They are called the Venue and although they didn’t win, but we thought they were pretty good, so we’ve put them on the main playlist.

And in this programme: -

My special guest is singer and songwriter Hayley Griffiths, our Urban Legends tale features a story called What Value A Looking Glass.

Andrew John is back, with another chance to hear the Chronicles of Little Bibbling under Flossock.

And in our “who said this?”  Which was inspired by meeting a few people from another radio station here in South Wales, I’d like to know who said this; “The hardest job kids face today is learning good manners without seeing any.”  So, who do you think said that?  Any Idea?  I’ll give you the answer at the end of the show.

Music wise, we have tracks from; The Boys From Melbourne Street, Roxanne Hall & Avenue Earth, Henry Martins Ghost, Serundal, Recoup and the Battlefield Band.
